The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI Eastern NY) organized an illustration exhibition of picture book art February 3rd–26th, 2026 at Colonie Library (William K. Sanford Library) located at 629 Albany Shaker Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
See children’s book artwork by featured local illustrators, including Sarah Baker, John Ebbert, Samantha Cotterill, Kevin Kelly, Melissa Kenny, Kerry McQuaide, Jessica Periwinkle, Sarah Perkins, Marker Snyder, David Soman, Kyra Teis, Betsy Wallin, and Liz Zunon.
Published books by participating artists will be available for viewing as well!
The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m., held in the library’s gallery space. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists, explore the artwork, and learn more about the art of picture book illustration.
Guests planning to attend the reception are encouraged to register in advance with the library.
